What is the 2015 SA User Conference?
The 2015 SA User Conference is an opportunity for customers, partners, and NRK staff to come together for a few days to share ideas, knowledge, and insight about SpatialAnalyzer® (SA) and metrology. Learning, sharing, networking, and a little bit of fun are the hallmarks of the SA User Conference.
When is it?
Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 1pm-7:30pm
Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 8am-8:30pm
Thursday, April 23, 2015, 8am-3pm
Where is the conference?
All conference activities except for NRK's Open House on Tuesday, April 21 will be held at the Kingsmill Resort Conference Center.

Why attend?
Attending the 2015 SA User Conference will give you the chance to hear about exciting new applications from other SA users, as well as share your own SA story. It will also give you the opportunity to expand your skills in metrology and SA, as well as the chance to influence the development of SA by sharing your feedback and experience. Breakout sessions will bring you up-to-date on the latest changes and additions to SA, and SA experts will shed light on a variety of capabilities within the software.
You'll have the chance to visit NRK's home offices and newly expanded lab on the first day of the conference. And, you'll have plenty of opportunity to expand your network and get to know other metrologists and SA users. This conference is ideal for new and veteran SA users alike.
I have an SA application that I'd like to present at the 2015 SA User Conference, am I allowed to present?
NRK welcomes SA users to submit ideas for potential presentations at the conference. Please email Jessica Ruff at jessica@kinematics.com with your topic and abstract.
What will I learn?
Attending breakout sessions and training workshops with SA experts. SA is a robust software package that is under constant development, so attending the 2015 SA User Conference gives you the chance to learn a great deal about the software in just a few days.
Beyond learning from NRK staff, the conference will give you the chance to learn from other SA users. Learning about unique applications and best practices in similiar or different industries can provide priceless insight that you can take back and apply directly on the job. There will be plenty of time for networking, so you'll have the chance to get to know fellow metrologists and SA experts.
How do I register?
Click here to register for the conference. Online registration is preferred, but you can also register by completing a registration form and submitting it via email. Please email Jessica Ruff at jessica@kinematics.com if you require a hard copy registration form.
How much does it cost to attend?
The cost to attend is $150 per person.
Early bird special: Register prior to March 20, 2015 and we'll waive the fee.
What does my conference fee include?
The conference fee includes the following:
- Course materials
- Open House & evening welcome reception on Tuesday, April 21
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday, April 22
- Breakfast and lunch on Thursday, April 23
Your conference fee does not cover your travel expenses, lodging, or transportation to and from Kingsmill Resort.
How do I reserve lodging for the conference?
You are resposible for making arrangements for your lodging. NRK has reserved a block of rooms at Kingsmill Resort for conference attendees. We strongly encourage you to stay at Kingsmill Resort and are offering all conference attendees a discounted room rate of $96/night for the nights of Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22.

When making your reservation by phone, you must state your affiliation with New River Kinematics in order to take advantage of the discounted rate. Reservations must be made prior to Monday, March 23, 2015.

NRK Headquarters is easily accessible from the following international airports:

What is the deadline to register?
In order to plan effectively, we ask that all attendees register and reserve their lodging by Monday, March 23, 2015.
Do I need to bring a laptop/tablet to the conference?
You are not required to bring a laptop or tablet device to participate in any of the conference sessions. If you would like to bring one; however, feel free.
