SA's RD Module provides a complete solution for feature extraction and analysis. By directly coupling the data collection to the surface creation SA's RD module delivers accurate 3D polygonal models with basic geometric shape creations. Point cloud editing is included with a powerful set of manipulation / filtering / smoothing capabilities which are critical for successful Re-Engineering Projects.

Local Segmentation of point data into logical groups

Direct manipulation of the polysurf; you can effectively grab a local polysurf mesh node and drag it around to either smooth or enhance a feature in the data.
