Instrument Interfaces

Instrument Interfaces are separate applications responsible for connecting, configuring, controlling, and collecting all available data from the instruments. Each interface shares a common user interface making it easy for an operator to use the best metrology system for the specific task. The interface connects to the instrument and establishes a network session with SA.

Quality Relationships

Relationship optimization is a new type of spatial transformation capability added to SpatialAnalyzer (SA). Relationship optimization, simultaneously, best-fit distances between objects (e.g., measured points) and known geometric shapes (e.g., points, lines, planes, and surfaces.)

Reverse Design Forward Engineered

SpatialAnalyzer's Reverse Design (SA RD) module provides a complete solution for feature extraction and analysis. By directly coupling data collection to surface creation SA's RD module delivers accurate 3D polygonal models with basic geometric shape creations. Visualize, recreate, redesign your critical components for manufacturing and production applications.

TransTrack Dynamic 6D Control

Trans-Track extends SA's metrology integration to support dynamic 6D tracking of assembly components with multiple online measurement instrument technologies. Trans-Track monitors a network of measurement systems inputs against nominal references and uses the delta to guide an assembly process or verify that a final assembly configuration meets the required tolerances. The assembly process is shown in real-time within SA's graphical environment.

FREE SpatialAnalyzer VIEWER

SpatialAnalyzer's Viewer allows you and your customers to open SA files to visualize and analyze your metrology jobs with SA's rich suite analysis and simulation tools. This free viewer enables you to deliver your measurement and analysis efforts and communicate with your customers with clarity. This capability enables measurement groups to share analysis results in a 3D graphical environment and therefore choose the combination of measurement technologies that best fit the measurement job.

Optical Path Simulation and Optimization

Optical Path Simulation is a general optical path simulation package aimed at enhancing laser tracker calibration and uncertainty analysis. This package has grown from the Virtual Laser Tracker (VLT) to the more general Optical Path Simulation and Optimization Engine (OPSOE). The OPSO engine allows the user to design an arrangement of optical components and propagate multiple beams through the model.
