SA Events

SA Events provide information similar to that presented in the Fit/Query report, except that it is tabular. SA Events are created anytime USMN, Best Fit, Relationship Fit, Geometry Fit, and Quick Align are performed. SA Events are supported for dragging/dropping into SA Dynamic reports.

Quick Align

Quick Align now supports more than 6 points (N-pt QuickAlign). After picking the initial 6 inspection points, any number of additional points may now also be selected. Quick Align dialog now report Maximum Deviation and RMS.

Construct Surface From B-Splines (Approximate)

Creates an approximate surface by fitting b-splines where user has control of the control points, degree of curve and the skinning tolerance.

Cylinder Fit Options

New Fit methods for locked radius cylinder fits. This allows the solution to reach a minimum RMS value or a solution that will yield a better axis.

Speed Improvements

Graphics acceleration now defaults to ON to allow many speed enhancements. You can disable this from the Performance Options area in User Options if you have display defects. Before disabling it, make sure you are running the latest video drivers for your hardware.

 

New Documentation

The SA Roadmap documentation is now released. Download the SA Master Installer and it will guide you through installing the roadmap. The new SARoadmap will automatically update as we update our documentation with each software release.

New format groups changes by New Fuctionality, Updates/Improvements, Fixes and Instruments. This will make it easier for the user to decipher changes made to a new release.
