What is the 2017 SA User Conference?
The 2017 SA User Conference is an opportunity for customers, partners, and NRK staff to come together to share ideas, knowledge, and insight about SpatialAnalyzer® (SA) and metrology. Breakout sessions and training workshops with SA experts will teach you more of what's possible with SA and give you an in-depth look at the latest updates and enhancements in SA. Hear about innovative new applications from other SA users from a variety of industries and have the chance to share your own SA story.
You'll also have the opportunity to visit NRK's home offices and lab on the first day of the conference. Throughout the conference, you'll have a chance to expand your network and get to know other dedicated SA users, the entire NRK team, and representatives from a variety of instrument manufacturers. The SA User Conference is ideal for new and veteran SA users alike.

Where is the conference?
NRK's Open House on Tuesday, April 25 will be held at NRK's headquarters. All other conference activities will be held at the Kingsmill Resort & Conference Center located at 1010 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185. Kingsmill is two miles from NRK.
Why attend?
Attending the 2017 SA User Conference will give you the opportunity to expand your skills in metrology and SA, as well as the chance to influence the development of SA by sharing your feedback and experience. Breakout sessions will bring you up-to-date on the latest updates and additions to SA, and SA experts will shed light on a variety of capabilities within the software.
You'll have the chance to visit NRK's home offices and metrology lab on the first day of the conference. And, you'll have plenty of opportunity to expand your network and get to know other metrologists and SA users. Whether you are new to SA or have been using SA for twenty years, you will learn and expand your skills.
I have an SA application that I'd like to present at the 2017 SA User Conference, am I allowed to present?
NRK welcomes SA users to submit ideas for potential presentations at the conference. Please email Jessica Ruff at jessica@kinematics.com with your topic and abstract.
What will I learn?
Attending breakout sessions and training workshops with SA experts will teach you what is possible with SA. SA is a robust software package that is under constant development, so attending the 2017 SA User Conference gives you the chance to learn a great deal about the software in just a few days.

Beyond learning from NRK staff, the conference will give you the chance to learn from other SA users. Learning about unique applications and best practices in similiar or different industries can provide priceless insight that you can take back and apply directly on the job. There will be plenty of time for networking, so you'll have the chance to get to know fellow metrologists and SA experts.

How much does it cost to attend?
The cost to attend is $50 per person. You will be required to pay the registration fee when you complete the online registration process. Click here to register for the conference.
What does my conference fee include?
The $50 conference fee* includes the following:
- Conference registration welcome packet
- Course materials
- All general sessions, workshops, and breakout sessions
- Open house at NRK on Tuesday, April 25
- Welcome Reception/Icebreaker on Tuesday evening, April 25
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday, April 26
- Breakfast and lunch on Thursday, April 27
*Please note: Your conference fee does not cover lodging, transportation to and from Kingsmill Resort, or any other travel expenses you may incur.
Can I bring a guest to the conference?
If you would like to bring a spouse, significant other, or family member to the conference, guest registration is available for $50/guest. This will allow your guest to attend the Tuesday evening Icebreaker reception and the Wednesday evening dinner with you.
How do I reserve lodging for the conference?
You are responsible for making arrangements for your lodging at the conference.
NRK has reserved a block of rooms at Kingsmill Resort for conference attendees. A discounted room rate of $104/night is available to conference attendees on the nights of Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday, April 26. We strongly encourage conference attendees to take advantage of the discounted rate and book their lodging at Kingsmill Resort by April 10.
To make a room reservation, call Kingsmill Resort Reservation Department at 757-253-1703 or 1-800-832-5665. When making your reservation, you must state your affiliation with New River Kinematics in order to take advantage of the discounted rate.

What is the weather like in Williamsburg in April?

What is the deadline to register?
In order to plan effectively, we ask that all attendees register no later than April 14, 2017.
Do I need to bring a laptop to the conference?
While it is not a requirement, you are permitted to bring your laptop and dongle to the conference.
